Panamarenko (1940-2019) was a groundbreaking Belgian artist known for his original creations on the boundaries of art, technique and technology. They explore the limits of the human imagination and man's long standing desire to fly, thereby shaping a quest for freedom. It makes him one of the most influential Belgian contemporary artists of today.
